The AKG P220 large-diaphragm condenser microphone delivers clear, distortion-free sound, whether you record vocals at home or mic up blaring guitar cabs and explosive drums on stage. Capable of handling SPLs up to 155dB (-20 pad on) without distortion to handle loud volumes while still capturing accurate and clear audio. A low-cut filter at 300Hz can be engaged to help reduce wind noise, reduce ruble and even bass buildup from close miking with the flexibility of engaging the mic's cardioid polar pattern to reduce stage bleed and background noise.
This rugged all-metal body microphone is not only durable, but also rejects RF interference from sources such as wireless systems. It comes with a spider-type shock mount to isolate the mic from vibration noise and a metal carrying case for safe transport.
